Screening and Discussion with Film Director, Pablo Cesar

Pablo César is an Argentine filmmaker, producer, screenwriter, and professor of cinema. He launched his career in Buenos Aires' independent short film scene, working extensively with the Super 8 format. Between the 1970s and 1980s, he created over twenty works, with notable films including Del génesis (1980), Ecce Civitas Nostra (1984), co-directed with Jorge Polaco, and Memorias de un Loco (1985). On 14th December 2023, the screening of L’Appel du Désert, directed by Pablo César, was followed by an interactive session with him at the Centre for Latin American Studies, University of Kerala.
